Once the deal is confirmed, your car is prepared for export to one of our international markets. It is either sold as a whole, as a working vehicle, or scrapped and broken down into parts before it is exported. Nothing goes to waste, and you are free of it the moment payment is handed over.

• Get your settlement figure. Request the outstanding settlement amount from your bank or finance facilitator.
• We compare it to our offer. If your settlement amount is less than what we are offering for your car, we cover the difference and pay off your loan directly with your creditor.
• You initiate the transfer of ownership. This has to happen first. We can't accept the vehicle until ownership transfer is initiated. It protects both parties and is standard procedure for every settlement sale.
• We settle the outstanding amount. Once the transfer is initiated, we pay off your loan with your lender, typically by the next business day.
• You receive the balance. For example, if your car sells for $34,000 and your settlement is $22,000, you'd receive $12,000.
• B Form is issued. Within 3 to 4 working days, LTA issues the B Form (official confirmation that the car is no longer registered under your name) and the transfer is complete.
